Thank you for visiting my Internet site. As an up-to-date practice, I want to give you the opportunity to stay in touch with me and my practice. My objective is to always keep you up to date.

In brief, you should know the following about me.  I was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida.  I was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1980 following graduation from Stetson University (undergrad, BS, BA) in 1972 and the Franklin Pierce Law College in 1979 (JD).  In between college and law school I was a Signal Corps Officer in the United States Army and served in Augsburg and in Katterbach, West Germany.  Following law school I returned to the Army and served as a Judge Advocate Officer (JAG) at Fort Ord, California.  After this I worked as assistant patent counsel for the United States Department of Energy.  In 1985 I returned to Florida and decided to make my home in Clearwater and have never had second thoughts about it.

I opened my practice in the same space I now occupy on May 1, 1985, which was also Law Day.  My practice is committed to establishing and protecting the liberty and property rights of individuals and small businesses.  I can envision no nobler endeavor.  I have maintained this practice continuously since then except for a 7 month absence from November, 1990 until July, 1991 (when I was mobilized as an Army Reservist fior Operation DESERT STORM) and again from October, 2003, until December, 2004, (when I was again called to serve in Baghdad, Iraq as an Army Civil Affairs Officer in support of Operation IRAQI FREEDOM).  A more detailed summary of my experience is available by clicking on my resume`.

I hope that you find your time on this website to be worthwhile.
